Please book early to avoid disappointment - weekend availability can be limited and we advise booking several weeks in advance.Weather: The weather can affect this experience, but any amendments to the itinerary, boat changes or cancellations are for your own safety.Duration: Your day will begin at 9am and end no later than 5pm.Numbers On Day: Spectators: Spectators are welcome to join you at a cost of £10 per person, payable on the day, to include a hot/cold buffet lunch and refreshments. Please note that any children must be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged 18 or over) at all times.Dress Code: Wear warm old clothes and trainers which you don't mind getting torn or damaged. Your arms and legs must be covered. Bring a dry change of clothes and a towel. All safety equipment is provided. Guidelines: Participants must be fit enough to get in and out of the boat unaided. All the boats and safety equipment meet international safety standards. As with all motorised sport, no alcohol or drugs allowed.Restrictions: Minimum age is 16, maximum 70. Under 18s need a parent/guardian's consent. Minimum height is 5'2'', max 6'2''. Max weight is 18 stone. Max upper body girth is 56''. Upon arrival you will be met by your qualified instructor, who will give you a full safety briefing before leading you to the vessel. You will begin by piloting a race ready Hydroplane Yamato OSY 400 known as the 'Kart' of inshore power boat racing. This top class hydroplane has a huge national and international following and really is the grass roots of an amazing sport. The adrenaline fuelled hands on experience will have you laying face down just inches from the water and a constantly changing track, guaranteed to get your pulse racing.

These lightweight, compact and incredibly agile semi rigid race boats are insanely good fun and capable of hitting a top speed of 50 mph. Guaranteed to get your pulse racing and adrenaline pumping, the Micro Cat has a serious element but you are here for the fun and we expect this experience to leave you totally exhilarated. Light refreshments are also included.
