The vineyard is situated in Macau, close to Margaux, bordering on a part of Château La Lagune and Château Cantemerle (3rd and 5th classified growth in 1855). The culture of the vineyard and the breeding of the wine are practised according to the traditional methods of the Médoc: total destalking, fermentation in stainless steel tanks, thermo regulated, and ageing for sixteen months in oak barrels, of which 30 % are renewed each year. The annual production is approximately 120,000 bottles.
