This Sharp AX-1100RM is a standard microwave oven, however this also has a water tank. This water tank is used to steam cook foods. Steam cooking allows more accurate and even cooking throughout your food. You can stack your foods on the 2 level steamer. The temperature of the steam can be selected using the High or Low options, the Low level may vary from 70degree C - 95degree C whereas the High will reach to 100degree C this is excellent for hard to cook vegetables which are tricky to get perfect. the steam will pierce through the outer layers and distribute the super hot steam throughout the food. This is almost instantaneous and will provide 16 cubic centimetres of steam per minute, as an authentic steamer, the Steamwave generates pure steam without the aid of microwave energy, thereby preserving all the benefits of steaming.This multi-purpose oven offers a unique combination of the healthiest cooking methods, all-in-one versatile appliance: Steam, Grill and Microwave. this means you can cook almost anything you need with a variety of methods.
