A half or semi Oxford brogue with discreet hole pattern and a straight cap with rosette. We have this shoe made specially for us with a rubber sole with dainite pattern. This means that through wind and rain your feet stay dry – and yet you can be seen in them anywhere. The difference from shoes with leather soles can only be seen from underneath. We have sizes 42-46 in store, so that they can normally be delivered straightaway. The remaining sizes from 39.5 (or from British size 6) are available with no additional charge. In 1829, master shoemaker Joseph Tricker founded the company R.E. Tricker Ltd. which even today – five generations later – is still family-run. Only the best materials such as the best calf leather and leather soles which are made in a laborious pit-tanning process with oak bark (tanning agents from oak). Besides the careful selection of materials and neat manual workmanship, the outer appearance of the shoe crucially depends on the "last", around which the shoe is made. The Tricker's last results in a classic, typically British shoe with elegance and understatement.Tricker's shoes are Goodyear welted. In this traditional production technique the upper leather is first welted (or stitched) to the flexible leather frame. The outsole is likewise stitched to the frame. The outsole, the insole and the cork layer between them are not glued together but stitched, so they can follow the natural rolling motion of the foot. In this way, after being worn in, welted shoes have high wear comfort and long durability. After wearing, the shoe should rest for at least one day on a shoe tree. It will be grateful for it.
