Availability: Runs on Fridays and Sundays from March to October. Dates fill very quickly and we recommend booking several weeks in advance.Weather: High winds and heavy rain can make orbing unsafe and any cancellations are made for your safety. You must check before setting off to ensure go ahead on the day (we recommend using Orb360 website or calling 0844 4148 360).Duration: Lasts approximately two hours and fifteen minutes. There will be a minute or two actually spent in the orb rolling. Your mountain boarding lesson will last for an hour and you will have one hour in the freestyle park.Numbers On Day: You will pair up with another participant to share the orb, and there will be other participants in the group for mountain boarding.Spectators: Family, friends and even pets (controlled and on a lead) are welcome to join you on the day. You could even bring your own picnic, although weather permitting, there are catering facilities onsite.Dress Code: Please dress for the outdoors and bear in mind weather conditions on the day. Wear long sleeves to prevent the harness rubbing your shoulders and gloves to improve your grip. Shoes and socks, jewellery, glasses and any other loose items must be removed.Guidelines: Often there is a barbecue onsite, it is not included as part of your experience. You can choose either to bring your own food or to pay for the food available on the day.Restrictions: Must be fit, healthy and not pregnant. Min height 5'2'', max weight 15st 7lbs, max girth 152 cms. No minimum age but under 16s to be accompanied by an adult. Test your nerve with this combination of two fantastic experiences. Take a 'head over heels' spin down a hill in a giant orb, hitting speeds of up to 30 mph on the UK's longest orb run. You'll be paired up with another participant and harnessed into the orb before it's released on its journey downwards. Then have a go at the extreme sport of mountain boarding. Get kitted out with full safety kit and head onto the nursery academy for your lesson with a fully qualified instructor. With your confidence building you can challenge yourself with the slalom training course, or even progress to the freestyle park with a range of jumps.
