Hope Vision 1 LED Front Light: This fantastic little light may just be the best addition to your night riding you can make as it a single high powered LED that pushes out 240 lumens on max power! This is the sort of output a lot of lights with more LEDs, bigger batteries and a greater cost can offer. The CNC machined lamp body mounts to the new reinforced nylon handlebar bracket, which fits both standard and oversize bars with the clever use of removable rubber plugs. The bracket also allows for lateral adjustment of the lamp whilst riding. The power is provided by 4 AA size batteries. These can be of your choice, and we leave that up to you. As an example though, you can expect to get an average of 3 hours run time on max power from a typical rechargeable battery. The light has a simple on/off/mode switch on the top. This has a new cycle program which turns the light on in 'low' mode and cycles through to the higher settings with each button press. This gives better control of the light in tricky situations when more light is needed quickly. As well as the universal handlebar clamp, a new reinforced nylon helmet mount is also included, along with a wrist lanyard, as well as ample velcro fastenings. This makes the light truly adaptable. Perfect for bikes, outdoor enthusiasts and people looking for a high quality, high powered light for other nocturnal activities! Hope Vision 4 LED Front Light: The all new 4 LED boasts some serious output. This impressive new light offers nearly twice the lumen output of its HID predecessor, now 960 lumens on max power! Standard version includes 1 x 2 cell battery pack. Combine this with over 2 hours of burntime and it's a winning combination. The CNC machined lamp body mounts to the new reinforced nylon handlebar bracket, which fits both standard and oversize bars with the clever use of removable rubber plugs. The bracket also allows for lateral adjustment of the lamp whilst riding. The 7.4v Li-ion battery pack is the same as the 2 LEDs 'Epic' version - with its 4 cells giving 5200 m Ah. The battery has built in charge, discharge and short circuit protection. The connectors are fully sealed and totally waterproof (IP67). The light has a simple on/off/mode switch on the back. This has a new cycle program which turns the light on in 'low' mode and cycles through to the higher settings. This gives better control of the light in tricky situations when more light is needed quickly. In tests the Li-ion battery will last for up to 35hrs on low and 2hrs 15min on max, with the intelligent charger returning that in just 6 hours. The PVC case is small enough to fit under most stems, top tube junctions or slip into a hydration pack or jersey pocket. The 4 LED now utilises 'thermal throttling' techniques to increase the longevity of the LEDs and prevent damage to the electrical circuit due to overheating. This works by monitoring the temperature of the aluminium heatsink and restricting the power when it reaches a critical level, thereby keeping the casing at an acceptable temperature for handling while providing extended battery burn times by reducing the amount of energy lost through heat. As well as the universal handlebar clamp, a new reinforced nylon helmet mount is also included as well as ample velcro fastenings. This light is perfect for Endurance events, 12/24hr racing and night riding alike. It gives more light than you've ever had before with sensible run times and a low system weight. Beautifully machined, this tiny light packs a big punch with it's twin high power 5w LED's pushing out 480 lumens. Endurance version includes 2 x 2 cell battery packs. In tests the 7.4v Li-ion battery will last for a minimum of 1hr 45mins of burn time with the intelligent charger returning that in just 3 hours. Universal Mount: This mounts to the NEW universal handlebar clamp (std and oversize compatible) or the NEW aluminium helmet mount (both items supplied as standard, along with short and long connecting wires - no expensive add on's to upgrade!) The Small Li-Ion Battery Pack: (which is the same one found in the stem mounted light) is now held in a custom made neoprene soft pack. The battery has built-in charge, discharge and short circuit protection. The connectors are fully sealed and totally waterproof (IP67). The light has a simple on/off push switch on the back. The soft bag option is small enough to fit under most stems, top tube junctions or slip into a hydration pack or jersey pocket. Our NEW universal handlebar clamp and helmet mount are both CNC machined to the same high standards the rest of our products achieve. No nasty plastic here! Ample velcro fastenings are also supplied. Stem Mount: The 7.4v Li-Ion battery pack (which complete with it's machined aluminium casing is about the size of a mobile phone) sits un noticed beneath the handlebatr stem, in the same mounting bracket as the HID. The battery has built-in charge, discharge and short circuit protection. The connectors are fully sealed and totally waterproof (IP67). The light has a simple on/off/mode push switch on the back. The clip system holding the battery also allows for quick changes - ideal for Endurance racing or those longer winter rides when you don't want to be standing around getting cold and struggling with wires and fastenings.
