Optical sensor fitted on the inside of the vehicles windscreen permanently detects light levels When the light drops to less than 1000 lux the electronic control unit activates the vehicles low-beam and side lights automatically When the light returns to 3000 lux the lights are automatically switched off in less than 20 seconds The system can easily be switched off to return to manual mode using the onoff switch on the sensor A change in daylight brightness is a day-to day situation when you drive - tunnels underground parking sudden weather changes nightfall... Such sudden environmental changes are not always perceived by the driver who may forget to switch the lights on representing a real danger and a potential source of accidents. This easy to fit kit is an automatic lighting system that switches on the headlights as soon as the light becomes poor and switches them off again when sufficient light is restored. Please note Not for installation on post 2002 Citroen and Peugeot models due to their unique electrical system not recognizing the need to switch the dashboard lights on after the system has been installed.
