The pet chip is a tiny glass tube with a microchip which contains a unique identification number. This chip is implanted in your cat´s skin and entered on a database together with its name and your address. Using a chip reader a vet can then identify the owner of for example a lost cat. Sure Flap cat flap saves your cat´s chip number with just one push of a button. It is possible to programme in up to 32 different chip numbers. Once saved the Sure Flap cat flap will only open for your cat stray cats or other unwelcome visitors will stay outside. The special design also ensures the cat has no chance to violently force the flap open. The antenna that reads the chip is inside the tunnel giving it exceptional range. Also if the chip happens to slip from its position it can still be easily recognised. The flap overs inwards after a fraction of a second and closes automatically a few seconds after your cat has passed through the tunnel. The Sure Flap also has a manual 4-way locking system which comes into effect when chip recognition is not functioning correctly and works without the need for excess effort. Sure Flap is easy to install. Its measurements fit into many existing holes from other cat flaps. Pet Porte Smart Flap made from UV resistant plastic has an integrated chip reader which only lets your own cat go through the flap. There is no need for dangerous cat collars and uninvited guests can´t get in. An integrated transponder reader reads the number on your cat´s micro chip. The transponder can be programmed to recognise chip numbers for up to 32 cats. An integrated light sensor reacts to various shades of darkness and enables you to stop your cat going outside when it gets dark. A pet chip consists of a glass tube about the size of a grain of rice. This tube contains a microchip with a unique identification number. Using an appropriate chip reader vets can read the information contained e.g. the name of the cat and owner and its address. The Pet Porte Smart Flap uses this identification number as an access code for your cat(s) or other pets that will fit through a flap. Even small dogs can use this flap - and all those who don´t have a matching number have to stay outside. The flap uses a safe low-voltage power supply for continuous operation. Ortlieb Cor13 Rucksack - 2011: The perfect combination of technology and sport orientated design. The minimalist form and weight make this a pack you can carry all day long. Though the COR13 has no external frame, it is very comfortable. The padded back with ventilation channels provides efficient air circulation. The wide, comfortable hip strap fins, anatomically contoured shoulder straps and chest strap are individually adjustable, and keep the pack close to your body. The 100% waterproof nylon fabric is extremely abrasion resistant and gives the pack its low weight (only 700 g/24.5 oz.). Helmet or snowboard may be stowed under the adjustable and removable front flap. The main compartment houses a sewn-in organizer for the inclusion of an optional hydration system. It goes without saying that the COR13 is well suited for hiking and ski tours. Snowboarders can fix their board under the front flap, and will enjoy the COR's perfect fit during freeriding.
