Offering peace and tranquillity, it is ideal if you really want to get away from it all. There is lots to see and do in the area, with public footpaths and riverside walks nearby as well as fishing at Stafford Moor Fishery, excellent golf at High Bullen, Libbaton and Torrington, and cycling on the Tarka Trail (bicycles can be hired locally). Family attractions such as Torrington 1646, The Big Sheep or The Milky Way are always a good day out. For those looking for quieter pursuits RHS Rosemoor and Dartington Crystal at Torrington are well worth a visit. There are pubs and a well-stocked village shop in Dolton. The Duke of York at Iddesleigh is 3 miles away and renowned for excellent food and traditional pub ambience. Wonderful beaches are within 17 miles. You can also relax in the garden; a magnificent spot for breakfast, drinks or sunset supper, overlooking a paddock where sheep graze, and with superb views of open countryside. Truly, this is a little piece of heaven in Devon.The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: both double. Bathroom: with power shower over bath, heated towel rail and WC.
