This enclosure employs aluminum cold plates to transmit excess heat from the drive to the PC chassis ensuring that overheating does not occur. Not suitable for SCSI drives.A high proportion of noise created by PCs comes from the hard drive(s). This is because the magnetic platters in the hard drive spin constantly at high speed.
