Look 566 Bike Frames Typical Use: Road The 566 Frame is the ideal frame for sport or long distnace cycling with a range of comfort features and a stiff construction to offer speed. Stiff Yet Comfortable The 566 has been conceived for above all comfort. The rigidity comes from certain components that require stiffness- such as the bottom bracket. This frame is destined for cyclists that want an all-around performing frame that could be used in competition. X-Design Stays The 566 is designed to improve comfort while preserving lateral rigidity. The seat and chain stays have been designed with a component in the center that helps absorb road shocks. This flat section functions as a "flex point" on the carbon tube. By enlarging the tube diameter- the lateral rigidity of the frame is improved. The top tube also has a flat section which allows greater deformation on the vertical plane. New Sloping Geometry The 566 adopts a sloping geometry which provides more comfort on the bike. The head tube is taller while the sloping top tube length stays the same and allows the use of a 27.2 seapost. All these details add up to comfort. The 566 can be used in competition Ultra Light Concept LOOK expertise in frame materials and construction creates ultra-light frames without compromising strength or rigidity. The weight of the 566 falls under the 1100 gram bar. 566 Fork The 566 fork is a one piece monocoque 100% carbon fork. It conforms to the EN 14781 Standard- The shape of this fork has been studied to provide comfort and stability for the rider. The fork crown is flared to offer support to a carbon conical bearing. This design is strong and helps keep the bicycle stable. The fork blades are oversized to better absorb road shock.

Look 596 i-Pack Bike Frames Typical Use: Road The 596 i-Pack Frame is a very high modulus carbon frame designed specifically for time trial of triathlon and offers a stiff and aerodynamic frame with integrated E-post for increased comfort and torsional rigidity. Aerodynamic Frame The new LOOK 596 was created to push the envelope of aerodynamic frame performance. Aerodynamics define this frame. The latest advances in wind tunnel testing have been incorporated into the design of this frameset. And just not the frame itself- but also how the frame and rider interact on the road. Aerodynamics and frame rigidity often conflict with each other. LOOK engineers have carefully created a frame which respects both stiffness and aerodynamics to create a frame that can deliver up to a 10% performance increase in real-world racing conditions. Three Sub-Module Frame Construction The frame is constructed in three sub-assembly monocoques • Front triangle including seat tube • Right rear triangle • Left rear triangle The attachment of the stays to the main triangle is done using an aerospace technique that increases the contact surfaces between the connected tubes to improve the strength and rigidity of the attachment area. ZED Monocoque Crankset The i-Pack frame is delivered with the new innovative ZED crankset. Both crankarms are made via a one piece molded construction which delivers an unparalleled strength to weight ratio. The ZED crankset weighs in at only 320 grams. Its unique design allows it to be installed in our proprietary 596 bottom bracket that uses oversized 65mm bearings. Trilobé technology allows the crank lengths to be changed from 170 to 172.5 or 175 without changing crankarms. The cranks are also compatible with standard or compact bolt patterned chainrings. E-Post R32 Adjustable The R32 adjustable E-POST offers +/- 32mm fore-aft adjustment relative to the seat tube axis. This is accomplished by the reversible saddle cradle which can be oriented 360º. Aero Offset Fork The offset aero LOOK fork was the object of the same aero research that was carried out on the frames. It is extremely important that all frame components are studied as a unit when aerodynamic testing is done. When you look at the frame head-on- the frame almost visually disappears behind the fork. The integrated indexed stem creates a ultra-stiff cockpit. LOOK's offset aero fork design was one of the first of its kind and remains one of the most mimic'd front fork designs in the industry. This fork however remains one of the narrowest profiles as it does not require the use of a conventional steerer tube design. Indexed Carbon Stem The stem is composed of two carbon arms retained by an aluminum collar. This permits an indexed adjustment from two different points of reference for height adjustment (top and bottom). The stem is available in five sizes which permits a very exact cockpit position in height and length.
