Think of anything you want, answer a series of 20 simple questions (hence the name 20Q - geddit!) and 20Q will miraculously work out what you're thinking of! If it answers within 20 questions it wins. If not, you win! Try it! Try thinking of the most ridiculous things imaginable, yet most times 20Q will still flummox you and guess what it is! It even teases you with phrases such as "I know everything!", "I'm gonna win!" and "You can do better than that!" just to rub it in that it keeps guessing what you're thinking! Sure, you'll beat it sometimes, but if you answer truthfully and give it a little bit of flexibility (we thought of a saucepan, it came up with frying pan!) it will work out most things you can ever think of! Orchestrally the piece is written for a standard formation with, except for timpani and vibraphone hardly any percussion. One particularity is the omission of flutes from the orchestra. Orchestral work commissioned by the BBC, and premiered by the BBC Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Andrew Davis, The Barbican Hall, November 1992.Quoting Lindberg: 'After having written a Piano Concerto in 1991 preceded by three works for different orchestral effectives (Kinetics, Marea and Joy) I felt that I had come to an end with a certain musical expression and also compositional technique. All these works were based upon an extended chaconne principle with chord chains cycling around, undergoing constant transformation and being articulated in a very gestural way. The musical paradox and evidently also the challenge was the discrepancy between a brick-like method expressed in a world of gestures (with all difficulties involved in conceiving music out of phrases) aiming at a continuity in terms of progression and development.After the Piano Concerto in the autumn of 1991 I strongly felt that I couldn't continue in that direction anymore. I started to work on a project called Corrente for 16 players, as a study for the full orchestra version entitled Corrente II.In order to bring the harmonic and rhythmic world closer to each other I abandoned the chaconne principle and based the harmony on different scale aggregates. By combining these scales and by filtering or by enhancing them with additional pitches based on more acoustically oriented views of the scales by considering them as partials of virtual fundamentals I was able to work in a rich harmonic world without actually having to do harmonic transformations and progressions. The rhythmic material was based on pattern figures with a rather kaleidoscopic approach of repetition and variation.By combining these pattern figures and scales aggregates I wanted to give the musical expression a 'narrative' sense of streams and directions moving around in different orchestral constellations.Corrente II for symphony orchestra is based on the same material as the piece for chamber orchestra. As the timbral palette and the mass qualities expanded, the dramaturgy of the piece also changed. Corrente lasts for about 12 minutes whereas Corrente II spans over 20 minutes.Basically the original flow of Corrente is still present in the final version of this project. One could think of a landscape, viewed from different distances, approaching it and thus discovering new details or by moving apart from it and seeing it as part of a larger context.Orchestrally the piece is written for a standard formation with, except for timpani and vibraphone hardly any percussions.One particularity was to leave out the flutes from the orchestra. I don't have anything against the flutes, on the contrary, but by doing so the outline of the sound body became enforced as the top of the wind group was scored by either oboes or clarinets. Consequently I didn't include the tuba in the brass section, thus giving the bass trombone a stronger emphasis also marking this enforcement of the frames.

At 580g it is the lightest stiffest and strongest carbon crank on the market, passing the new, far stricter, CEN fatigue test. Passed the new increased CEN fatigue test at the new standard of 1800 Newton's The Vuma Quad tested beyond 100, 000 cycles at 1800 Newton's. The Vuma Quad is a 4-arm compact crank fits the emerging 30mm BB standard, using a 30.0mm spindle and 30mm bearings. This crank set is 33% stiffer than the next lightest product on the market and. The spindle is aluminum 30mm, with a unique design that allows for weight reduction while retaining structural integrity and durability. This all new four-arm spider comes with your choice of 50/34 or 53/39 chain ring, in a 110mm bolt circle for extra stiffness and in 170, 172.5, 175 and 180mm lengths for the really discerning rider. Our bonding system is 3 times as strong at holding two separate lugs giving a super light, extra stiff crank. The extra stiff chain rings are fitted to a 110mm bolt circle and attached with "No Nuts" system to reduce weight and increase overall crank stiffness. Stiffer chainrings also aid shifting as the front mech feels more responsive when moving the chain from ring to ring. The smaller chain ring is threaded, so we use a larger diameter bolt to increase thread engagement, reduce weight and stiffen the chain ring - crank arm interface. The bearings are USA made with ABEC 5 grade races and Grade 10 steel balls, no less than 2.5 times as round as the rest of the industry. The Vuma Quad is compatible with all frames that have a 68mm wide bottom brackets with either 1.37" X 24T English threads or 36mm X 24T Italian threads. It has also been future proofed for compatability with the BB30 system. The Vuma Quad is designed to work with only the Vuma Quad bottom bracket bearing cups, which come in either a standard version or a ceramic version(not supplied). Caution: Possible Interference Between Vuma Quad Spindle and Cable Guide Bolt There may be interference between the 30 mm spindle of the Vuma Quad and the cable guide bolt on some bikes. The 30 mm spindle of the Vuma Quad has less clearance between the spindle and inner diameter of the bottom bracket shell than most other bottom bracket spindles. This is allowed by the use of external bearing cups. The reduced clearance means less room for anything to protrude into the inner diameter of the bottom bracket shell. The cable guide on many bikes is held to the bottom side of the bottom bracket shell using a bolt that goes through the shell. One should take care while installing the Vuma Quad to make sure the cable guide bolt cannot come into contact with the spindle. If it can, a shorter bolt should be used in its place before installing the Vuma Quad. How big of a bowl or tank do I need for my Magic Fish? Depending on how many Magic Fish you are keeping together and how often you want to change some water, you can go as small as a 1 gallon bowl up to a regular fish tank with filter. In a bowl with no filtration you should change a quarter of the water each day so that you don't get a build up of waste. I'm having trouble with my brine shrimp (sea monkeys) hatching is there anything I can do to get more to hatch? Try changing the temperature. Shine a light on them for 12 hours a day. Change salinity (add more salt or less). Don't try to hatch too many eggs. With brine shrimp (sea monkeys) little is better than more. If you like to make a brine shrimp hatchery, go to education section.
