They incorporate a spring loaded stand off function which allows them to press firmly to the head and create a good against noise seal. The international slot enables a very firm fitting of the ear defender adaptor blade that grips the helmet shell. The ear defenders are designed for long-term comfort with performance in mind, depressing a force of 10N, whilst providing 28 SNR protection for good general purpose protection levels required for most construction and industrial environments. Surefit™ safety visor The Surefit™ safety visor has been designed with 2-point travel and either springs firmly in place down onto the peak of the helmet, or is sprung in its stand off position raised conveniently out of the way. The visor offers protection against medium energy high speed particles at 120m/s (270mph), liquid droplets and molten metal. The optical qualities of the visor comply with the requirements of optical class 1 (highest). Markings: EN166 1.B.3.9.
