Super Solvitax Projoint Supplement with Glucosamine, MSM and Chondroitin is specially formulated to aid optimum joint health, maintain and build cartilage, maintain elasticity, and promote healthy movement in joints. It also contains Brewers yeast and peppermint as flavour enhancers. Glucosamine is an amino sugar, which is found in the cartilage and plays an important role in maintaining joint health. Glucosamine is an integral constituent in the structure of cartilage, tendons, and ligaments which are constantly being rebuilt. Chondroitin is also an amino sugar present in cartilage and connective tissue. It plays an important role in joint care. Chondroitin is involved in the attraction of fluid that lubricates the joints. It is formed in the body, and obtained from the diet. However, it occurs naturally in only a small amount of foods. MSM is rich in organic sulphur, which is found in proteins of most tissues such as skin, organs and hair. Sulphur is also necessary for the maintenance of healthy tissue. MSM contributes to the production of ground mucopolysaccharides which maintain the integrity of connective tissue, therefore helping to keep joints flexible and muscles supple whilst maintaining healthy circulation. Super Solvitax PROJOINT has been specifically formulated for those horses and ponies that take part in physical equine activities. Periods of high activity place additional demands and wear on the body. Tissues are all constantly being regenerated, but this renewal process slows down during natural ageing. Daily Recommendations: Use the 12.5 gram measure provided and mix with hard feed. Super Solvitax Projoint Supplement with MSM contains ALAVIS MSM (Methyl Sulphonyl Methane) of high quality and purity. It also contains Brewers yeast and peppermint as flavour enhancers. Sulphur is an important constituent of flexible disulphide bonds within the protein structure in tissues, providing them with elasticity and movement. Sulphur is also necessary for the maintenance of healthy tissue. MSM contributes to the production of ground mucopolysaccharides which maintain the integrity of connective tissue, therefore helping to keep joints flexible and muscles supple, whilst maintaining healthy circulation. Organic sulphur is easily lost in the feed manufacturing process and by long term storage, which means that additional sulphur may help restore the balance. Research has shown that the inclusion of MSM is particularly useful in the diet of growing foals, the elderly horse and those horses whose activities put them under extra stress. Daily Recommendations: Research has shown that a higher initial quantity should be fed for the first 10 days, after which the feeding rate should be reduced by half. In times of need, such as prior to and during competition, the higher level may be used. Shake the tub before use. 40 grams of Super Solvitax Projoint MSM equals 20 grams of ALAVIS MSM. Using the 20 gram measure provided and mixed with the hard feed: HORSES initially 40 grams (2 measures) per day for 10 days. Then 20 grams (1 measure) per day. PONIES Initially 20 grams (1 measure) per day for 10 days. Then 10 grams (0.5 measure) per day.
